What activities have been planned?

We are planning to deliver three events each term, two speaker and one panel discussion about a topic that moves us currently. We invite our speakers on a non-partisan basis on the merit whether we think they can contribute a meaningful and new perspective on political issues that matter for our generation. In that, we invite not only politicians but civil servants, economists, judges, activists and many more.

Do I have to be a member to participate?

Homerton Politics is open to all years across all colleges so do encourage anyone you know to come along to our events. As we are a college-based Politics Society, membership as such is not required to attend any events. At some events you might be asked to pre-register, as we have a maximum on attendees, but that is all we will ever ask you for.

How often does Homerton Politics meet?

Homerton Politics has no regular meetings as we tailor to the schedules of our guest speakers, but we aim to have an event three times a term, including one panel discussion with a more subject focussed approach.
